Fort Lauderdale – Another victory.
Missing their first chance to advance, the Florida Panthers lost 3-0 to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Amerant Bank Arena on Monday.
“We need to go back to the game,” defensive man Ubis Balinskis said after his defeat. “I tried to do a little more extra today. I’ll be fine once I get back into the game.”
They still lead 3-1 in the series, closing the Hurricane to reach their third Stanley Cup final. The Panthers fly to Raleigh for Game 5 on Wednesday.
The cat, who has already won the Lenovo Centre twice, is sure to get the job done.
“We don’t think we’ve made them uncomfortable enough,” forward Evan Rodriguez said. “We’ll go back tomorrow and try to get it back to them.”

Shaking on the road
Chaotic and comfortable.
While some teams feel the pressure of the opposing crowd, the Panthers thrive in the atmosphere.
The Panthers, who own a 7-2 record on The Road in this year’s playoffs, including four consecutive wins between the second round and the Eastern Conference Finals, defeated their opponents 18-11 in the opposing barns.
In special teams, teams are ranked first in power plays, with an incredible clip of 45.8% on the street. The Panthers’ penalty kills also came in second, achieving that with a success rate of 86.2%.
“We want to play in the same way on the house and on the road, but since we’re on the road, I think things are easier,” forward Carter Werhege said. “We try out simple games. We know what to expect. They come out hard.”
