TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — It’s been almost 32 years since Linda Hirschberger saw her 18-year-old daughter, Bonnie Dage, and her four-month-old grandson, Jeremy Dage.
Hirschberger said Bonnie was smart, loved horses and recently worked as a nanny.
“This is my dad”: lost in the rest of the veteran mail.
Now, that precious teenage girl and her little boy are saved in time in photos after the phone turned the world of Hirschberger upside down on April 28, 1993.
“The woman she lived with and her step-sister called my husband and asked if Bonnie would be there by that morning,” she explained.
The next day, investigators with the Hillsboro County Sheriff’s Office said they found Bonnie’s van at Kash and Curry down the road.
“It changed everything,” Hirschberger said. “It’s not now an investigation, maybe it’s a girl with some issues.”
Bonnie’s brother, Joseph Daige, said everything was different from that moment on.
“We really want to know where they are,” he pleaded. “We want to know that they are not trapped in their homes, but somewhere in the dungeon, alive and tortured.”
“That’s probably the worst part,” he continued. “We want to give them a grave somewhere, where their bodies are.”
Nicole Rogers, a reporter for News Channel 8, asked, “If Bonnie can hear you now, what would you like her to hear?”
“We have never stopped looking for you, we love you, we will not stop,” replied Joseph.
