Cape Coral, Fla. (WFLA) — Firefighters rescue two dogs from a fire that has become unconscious by inhaling too much smoke.
The shocking video shows a ball of fire erupting from a home in the 900 block of NE 12th Terrace last week. Firefighters from Cape Coral Fire Station arrive and find the garage completely wrapped in flames.

As the crew worked to put out the fire, the battalion chief heard barking from inside.
Some firefighters fought the flames in the garage, while others searched the house and found two unconscious dogs. Thankfully, there was no home at the time.
This video shows a firefighter giving the animal oxygen, comforting and comforting it. Eventually, the puppy regained consciousness and “waving tail.”
The fire department was deeply grateful for the donation of pet oxygen masks and helped bring oxygen to life for these dogs.
