Watch: Florida Vice President’s police car is stopped on track before train crashes

JUPITER, Fla. (WFLA) – A deputy responding to an ongoing robbery and an ongoing robbery collided with the train early Monday morning, according to NBC affiliate WPTV.

The collision reportedly occurred at 4:45am at the intersection of Jupiter’s old Dixie Highway and County Line Road.

One person died, the other injured in a shooting in a plant city: police

According to the news outlet, the railway gates had already been lowered and the aides were unable to win the approaching train.

Video on the train shows the patrol vehicle inching towards the gate and trying to get away from the truck. While you can hear the train ringing the corner, you can see the flashing lights of the car.

Late Monday morning, train gates and posts are seen destruction after the collision.

The deputy working at the Martin County Sheriff’s Office was taken to a nearby hospital where only minor injuries were injured.

It was unknown what kind of trains were involved.

WFLA.com contacted the Sheriff’s Office for additional information.
