Virgin Voyages is jumping on the pop culture bandwagon of popular podcasts by collaborating with IheartMedia to announce its first true crime voyage.
On October 10th, we depart from Variant Lady’s Miami, and our one-time five-night itinerary will depart for the Virgins Beach Club in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Bimini, Bahamas. Cruise focuses on popular titles such as “What They Don’t Know”, “Betrayal” and “Burners.”
During a special voyage, guests can experience live podcast recordings of their favorite shows, take part in “podcasts” workshops, find out how to meet and get started with top hosts, take part in gifts, enjoy themed cocktails and chewing.
Adults Only Cruise Line packages this as a “culture-driven sales opportunity” by travel advisors known as First Mate. Virgin claims this experience as a ripe experience to people who are new to group bookings and cruising.
“We design true crime voyages and utilize what people are already passionate about,” said Nathan Rosenberg, Virgin Navigne Chief Marketing Officer and Sales Officer. “But because it’s something that’s worthy of my first buddy, I built it to make it simple, profitable and fun.”
Guests can also book this cruise directly through the Virgin Voyages website. On this website, prices start at $1,702 per cabin, starting at twice the occupancy rate. Cruise Line’s all-inclusive pricing model covers WiFi, tips, charm, dining in over 20 restaurants, non-alcoholic drinks, fitness classes and entertainment.
The brave woman is one of four virgin ships that share the same yacht-style design and similar capabilities with about 2,700 passengers each.
