Florida Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed heavy snow falling along Interstate 10 in Escambia County, not far from the Alabama border.
Drivers were seen braving the slippery and dangerous conditions despite warnings from law enforcement to stay off the roads.
Cameras on the Pensacola Bay Bridge also revealed a layer of snow on the 3-mile bridge connecting Pensacola to Gulf Breeze.
In some places, only the headlights could be seen through the thick snowfall.
A little further south, Pensacola Beach has become straight out of a Taylor Swift song, with its already crystal-white sand taking on a new shade of white when snow falls on the beach.
A winter storm warning was issued for several northern counties on Tuesday as the storm moved across the region. Forecasters predicted up to 6 inches of snow could fall in some areas.
