Orange County, Fla. (WFLA) – Video released Thursday by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office showed an adjutant accidentally fired a weapon from the front door of the house, attacking a victim of a home invasion.
The Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the Shellingham Road home on August 23 for breaking into his home.
Investigators say the man in his 40s fired a shot at four suspects trying to break into his home. The suspect fled on foot.
The message was engraved on the casing of the bullet discovered after Charlie Kirk’s shooting. What did they say?
Video released by the Sheriff’s Office showed lawmakers knocking on the victim’s door and screaming “Sheriff’s Office.”
When the victim unlocked the front door, the aide grabbed the gun and accidentally fired a shot.

“You shot me!” the man said. “You said, ‘Come outside,’ you shot me. The man told his agent.
The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and released on the same day.
The agent was released from law enforcement duties and was reassigned to management capabilities.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the case.
