PORT STA FL (WFLA) – A bus aide from Port St. Lucy has been charged with child abuse after being accused of pushing and shaking a special needs student.

Police say the incident occurred on a bus from a school in Northport K-8, identifying the victim as a 9-year-old girl with special needs.

Abieser Pinillos, 43, was charged with one count of child abuse and was subsequently released on $5,000 bail, police said.

In the video of being captured by another child on the bus, Pinilos can be heard as he sat the victim and walked towards her, grabbed her and told him to push her back into his seat.

Pinilos appears to shake the girl violently as she is pushed into the corner of her seat before returning to the front of the bus.

Police said Pinilos left visible marks on his neck and arms on the victim.

The St. Lucie County School District said he was subsequently removed from his position.
