Video: Crocodile vs. Everglades Crocodile Countermeasures

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Everglades National Park visitors took part in a special show last week when alligators and crocodiles began blowing away sunny areas on the sidewalk.

Reptiles are cold-blooded and rely on the heat of the sun to regulate their temperature, so the best place to spread is worth fighting.

The video captured by Taylor Bonazia, who joined the park, shows two people who bite and hissed on the sidewalk, ringing at each other.

Both reptiles take some good hits, but neither are much more elegant on land than they are in the water.

At the end of the video, both are seen stalking the bushes.

“The crocodile enters the water, and is defeated and soon leaves the area, and the crocodile reaches her lovely sunny spot to immerse herself in the sun,” says Taylor Bonazia.

These parkers had front row seats in something that most people would never see. South Florida is the only place in the world where both American and American crocodiles can be found in the wild.
