Video: A Florida woman is locked in a car as a tornado passes. The fragments fly away

LONGWOOD, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman trapped in her car shot a dramatic video showing a tornado that landed north of Orlando on Monday flying along the way.

As the storm passed, we could see wood limbs and other debris flying into her car, making fierce noises so that some things seemed to hit her car. The strong winds also shot her car in the rain.

Report: “Broken” Florida insurance company moved money. How does the Watchdog organization ask?

The woman’s voice became unstable and emotional as she looked around after the rain and wind slowed down. Her camera revealed that the shingles had disappeared from the nearby roof and the tree had collapsed in front of her car.

Another video, filmed after she fully cleared the sky, shows the full-scale destruction of the Longwood district. The trash was scattered everywhere. The fence fell. A large tree was torn off the ground. And the first responders lined up the street.

According to NBC affiliate Wesh, the National Weather Service confirmed that the tornado is in peak winds of 120 mph and is classified as EF-2.

Officials believe the Tornado’s four-mile track began at Wekibas Springs, expanded to Longwood, and crossed the I-4 to Lake Mary.

Preliminary data showed that it was on the ground for a total of 6 minutes and spanned 300 yards wide.
