TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The 18th-ranked USF Bulls head to South Florida for a top 20 matchup against the fifth-ranked Miami Hurricanes on Saturday.
This shows that South Florida football has been ranked in the Associated Press’ Top 25 polls since 2018. South Florida also checked in at No. 23 in the coach’s poll.
The Bulls’ season opened with a 34-7 defeat to Boise State at Raymond James Stadium before securing an 18-16 upset against the University of Florida.
These victories have allowed South Florida to defeat 13 ranked opponents in history, allowing the team to return to national rankings. Their highest ranking ever came in second on October 15th, 2007.
