After years of decline, the number of US military hires has increased.

A military official told Florida every day that the US military is expected to meet its recruitment targets in April. So far, the Army has already reached 85% of its 2025 enlistment target.

Other branches, including the Navy and the Air Force, have also witnessed an increase in numbers. The US Department of Defense (DOD) says the Navy will meet its highest adoption numbers in at least 20 years. The number of Air Forces has increased by 20% this year.

The DOD number indicates that Florida is one of the top states where adoption surges have been taking place. The overall trend indicates that military recruitment is gaining.

Several factors.

New administration and policy changes, increased pay. It offers more bonuses and incentives to attract new recruits. The Trump White House has eliminated Day. Advertisement that promotes the military as a great place for employment security and educational benefits. There is no more covid vaccine order.

The military also changed some of its requirements and allowed more applicants. Improve recruitment by increasing enlistment eligibility through programs such as future soldier preparation courses.

The program has proven to be a recruitment lifeline, helping applicants to meet body fat and academic standards. Once recruits meet the Army standards, they proceed to basic training.

Military recruiters are steadily increasing in 2024, with women and black people, accounting for 25% of new Army recruits.

Still, there are some obstacles the military is trying to approach.

The pentagon says that only 23% of Americans aged 17 to 24 are eligible to serve. The reason was an increased obesity rate and reduced performance of armed services occupational aptitude batteries, a standardized test used to screen potential participants.
