Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights begins in August for the second year in a row.
In a Universal Orlando news release outlining key dates and events for 2026, the resort announced that its annual Fright Fest will be held on select dates from August 28th to November 1st. HHN was first launched last year in August.
The release did not include ticket prices, exact dates or theme details for HHN’s Haunted House.
Universal’s event guide will soon include the Christian music event Rock the Universe, which will be held from January 23rd to 24th, and Universal Mardi Gras, which will be held from February 7th to April 1st.
The resort is also planning several Harry Potter-based events, including Butterbeer Season (March 1st to May 31st), Back to Hogwarts (August 1st to September 1st), and Dark Arts, which was announced to be held on “select nights this fall.”
Universal will be holding Passholder Appreciation Days from August 15th through September. The return of the Holiday Celebration, once again featuring the Grinchmas and Macy’s Holiday Parade, is scheduled for November 14th through January 30th. 3.
Most events are included in regular theme park admission, but Horror Nights and Rock the Universe require separate tickets.

SeaWorld’s daytime event, Halloween Spooktacular, runs from August 29th to November 29th. Dates have not yet been announced for Brick-or-Treat at Florida Legoland and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, an additional ticket event at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. (2025 starts on August 15th.)
