KIE WEST, Fla. (WFLA) – United Airlines flights made an emergency landing in Virginia Thursday after crews reported a fire in their cabin, according to a Federal Aviation Administration statement.
A statement provided to NBC said United Airlines flight 1513 had safely landed at Washington Dulles International Airport around 4:45pm local time.

Officials said the Boeing 737 has taken off from Key West International Airport and headed for Newar Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
Authorities did not say whether they were injured or the cause of the fire.
The FAA investigation was underway on Thursday evening and no further information was available immediately.
