CEDERKEY, Fla. (WFLA) – A search was underway on Monday for two teenage girls who disappeared while paddleboarding at Cedar Key.
The girls, both 16 years old, were last seen on Monday, March 17th around 4pm, according to the Levi County Sheriff’s Office.

Earlier that day, their photos showed the girl sharing a black and white paddle board. Many of the states were withstanding strong winds on Monday.
In a social media post around 9:18pm, the sheriff’s office said the Marines, along with the FWC and the Coast Guard, were still searching for the girl.
The Sheriff’s Office said updates will be provided as available.
