Pembroke Pines, Fla. (WFLA) – Four people, including two children, were injured in a plane crash in Pembroke Pines on Sunday.
A collision occurred around 8:10pm on 14th and 68th Avenue Boulevard in the southwest, not too far from North Perry Airport, reported by NBC affiliate WTVJ.

The pilot and four passengers boarded the boat. All four residents were taken to the hospital. Sources told WTVJ that the two passengers were teenagers, ages 13 and 16.

More than 36 crashes have occurred near North Perry Airport over the past five years, according to Pembroke Pines Mayor Angelo Castillo. He requested the Broward County Commission to begin an airport safety investigation.
“We’ve exhausted our patience and we want this community to feel safe,” Castillo told WTVJ.
