Trump orders agencies to terminate all federal aid for illegal immigration

The president hopes the federal government will go to “really needy American citizens, including individuals with disabilities and veterans,” officials said.

President Donald Trump on February 19th identified federal funding programs that provide financial assistance to illegal immigrants to all agencies, and secured state and local funding to “take corrective action.” It directs to support illegal immigrants that are not used to support sanctuary policies. ”

The order also mandates improved eligibility verification that blocks federal support from reaching people in the country illegally.

White House officials, first reported by Fox News, confirmed the order with the Epoch Times, “protect the federal public interests of truly needy American citizens, including people with disabilities and veterans.” It provided Trump’s commitment.

“This executive order ensures that President Trump will use taxpayer resources to protect the interests of American citizens, not illegal foreigners,” the fact sheet said. It points out that illegal immigrants are “generally prohibited from welfare programs,” but if some people are paroleed and classified as “qualified aliens,” they will be able to find a variety of programs on a slide scale. It suggests that it may be of interest.

This is the latest lawsuit in the president’s ongoing crackdown on illegal immigration since re-entering the White House on January 20th. Trump has signed numerous executive orders relating to immigration, including a reinterpretation of the 14th Amendment birthright citizenship clause. Others targeting “sanctuary” cities and jurisdictions.

Trump also ordered the continued construction of walls at the southern border, ending most asylum programs, reviving previous “remaining in Mexico” policies, and to schedule asylum hearings before immigrants enter the United States. I have finished the CBP One app I was using.

Trump recently signed an executive order calling for the detention of illegal criminal immigrants at Guantanamo Bay Navy Base in Cuba, and launched crackdowns in major cities along with US immigration and customs enforcement.

The president’s attempts to end the birthright citizenship of children born from illegal immigrants face many legal challenges. On February 18, a federal judge denied the Trump administration’s allegations of partial stay in the preliminary injunction that prevented the executive order from coming into effect.
Trump also ended the Biden administration’s policy known as “catch and release.” This allowed many illegal immigrants to enter the United States and potentially survive for years while awaiting an immigration court hearing. President’s border emperor Tom Homan said daily border encounters have been reduced to under 300 compared to more than 11,000 people at their peak under the previous administration.
