TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – President Donald Trump will be taking part in two phone town halls tonight with a Republican candidate in Florida’s special election.
Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis posted this morning on X, announcing Trump will join him at “Teletown Hall.”
“Listen to the President why CD-1 elections are so important not only to the Panhandle family, but to the entire country!” Patronis wrote in X.
Patronis aims to replace former Congressman Matt Gaetz as representative of Florida’s First Congressional District.
You can join City Hall by calling 833-305-1698 at 5pm.
Trump will also join Florida Sen. Randy Fein (R-19) at the telephone city hall.
“This is a chance to hear firsthand from me and President Trump what is at stake in this year’s election and why we need your vote on April 1st!” Fine said in X.
The senator wants to replace former Rep. Mike Waltz, who resigned from his position as a national security adviser, in his position as a member of the Trump administration.
You can join Fine’s Tunchally Hall by calling 833-380-0653 at 6:30pm on EST.
Both candidates are in districts Trump has comfortably won, but Democrat candidates in District 1 and District 6 have abolished them with a large margin.
Florida Democratic candidates comfortably outperform GOP’s enemies in special elections
Patronis and Fine received last minute funding from Elon Musk’s Super PAC earlier this week.
America PAC is spending more than $20,000 on its text messaging service to increase its GOP candidates, according to a report filed Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission.
The special election will be held on Tuesday, April 1st.
