President Donald Trump appears to be returning to Palm Beach over Super Bowl weekend, but he is scheduled to attend a big game in New Orleans.
On Tuesday morning, the Federal Aviation Administration issued temporary flight restrictions for the Mar-a-Lago Club, an airspace over Palm Beach and the main residence of Trump. The restrictions are a strong indication that Trump is coming.
Flight restrictions will come into effect at 4:45pm on Friday and end at 5:30pm on Sunday.
Advances Trump’s expected arrival, South Ocean Boulevard, next to his Mar-a-Lago club, closes between South County Road and South Boulevard’s traffic circles. The town sends a warning 24 hours before the road closes, giving drivers time to plan alternative routes.
NBC News reported Tuesday that Trump will be attending the New Orleans Super Bowl on Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles.

A pre-tape interview with Fox News’ main political anchor, Palm Beacher Bret Baier, will air on Sunday at the Super Bowl pre-game show at 3pm, Fox News announced earlier this week.
Baier will be sitting with Trump at Mar-A-Lago this weekend, Fox News said.
The interview “will focus on the changes the Trump administration has enacted since the inauguration and his first 100 days of his presidency,” the network said in its announcement.
This is Trump’s second visit to his Palm Beach home since he was sworn on January 20th.
Trump is known to watch the Super Bowl at his Trump International Golf Club on Summit Boulevard, outside West Palm Beach. Club Super Bowl parties often include entertainment. In 2017, during Trump’s first term as president, the Palm Beach Central High School marched. Later, from 2018 to 2020, the Marching Band and Cheerleaders of Florida Atlantic University held shows.
