SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – One person was injured after the Road Rage incident fired on Friday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The Troopers said the incident unfolded on I-75, southbound north of Clark Road. Two vehicles were involved: a white Jeep SUV and a black Dodge Ram pickup.

The driver of the Jeep SUV is believed to have fired at least one shot at the driver-side window of the Dodge Ram.

Authorities say Dodge’s driver and passenger side windows were shattered.

The Dodge driver suffered minor injuries and was treated by EMS on the scene, officials said.

The Troopers say the Jeep driver escaped to Clark Road after the incident.

Authorities were still investigating on Friday evening, but no further information was available immediately.
