Royal Caribbean offers facelifts with three ships with modernized amenities including improved pool decks, new dining options and Port Canaveral-bound sea harmonies.
The company’s third oasis class ship, which will be launched in 2016 and is set to arrive in Florida in August 2026, will feature a new Caribbean-inspired pool deck, refreshed adult-only solarium, laser tags, arcade upgrades and fresh dining options. The upgrade plans include new ways to stay like the ultimate family suite and expansion at the largest casino royale in the company’s fleet.
Harmony is the first oasis class ship to incorporate a 10-storey twisted dry slide, and is the ultimate deep byss. Additionally, the ship has a bionic bar with three high-speed water slides, a zip line, a flow rider surf simulator and a robot bartender.
Ovation of the Seas, a quantum-class ship that began service in 2016, will receive a refresh pool deck with accommodation upgrades such as private casitas, new vortexes, nasty parrot bars, and ultimate family suites and panoramic suites. The free-class ship that debuted in 2007, Liberty of the Seas returns to service with a reimagined pool deck with the Royal Escape Room Experience, more Casitas, Lime & Coconut, a new Starbucks, EL Loco Fresh and new dining options from Izumi Teppanyaki.
Ovation plans to offer Alaska cruise itinerary starting in summer 2026. In the summer of 2026, we will be cruises from Southampton, England to European destinations, including Norway, Belgium and Denmark.
All ships have undergone upgrades as part of the Royal Amplification Program. This incorporates old favorites and enhances them with modern attractions and meals. Harmony, Ovation, Liberty, Seven previously amplified ships, Sea Charm, Sea Navigator, Sea Freedom, Sea Freedom, Sea Mariner, Sea Independence.
Harmony of the Seas set sail from Port Everglades in 2016 and made its debut as the largest cruise ship in the world at the time. In 2019, the ship arrived at Port Canaveral for two years before Wonder of the Sea took over in the fall of 2021. The port hosted all Royal Caribbean oasis class ships except Symphony of the Seas.
The Royal has doubled the largest ship in Port Canaveral since late 2023, offering short 3 and 4 nights Bahamas cruises and regular 7 nights Caribbean sailing.
For now, they are being done by Utopia of the Seas, which debuted in 2024, and Wonder of the Sea. The latter is set to make way for the second icon class, Royal’s latest ship Star of the Seas in August.
