Louisiana Attorney General Liz Maril said all three will face additional charges related to prison escape.
Three of the 10 inmates who fled the Orleans Parish Judicial Center on May 16 were recaptured in two states on Monday, authorities said. Two more prisoners are still running.
Tate and Donald were arrested after leading the Huntsville area in a fast pursuit, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Van Bren was originally jailed for firearms and parole violations. Tate was jailed on charges of firearms and robbery, but Donald was initially taken into custody for second-degree murder, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a felony.
Authorities previously recaptured Corey Boyd, Gary Price, Kendel Miles, Robert Moody and Doken Dennis. The remaining two inmates, Derrick Groves and Antoine Massy, are still large.
“These arrests were the result of a multi-agency collaborative investigation with local, state and federal partners. The investigation continues and additional arrests may be approaching,” police said.
The order directs the Department of Corrections (DOC) to review the Orleans Parish Correctional Facility for compliance with the “Basic Prison Guidelines” and to relocate all DOC prisoners currently held at the facility.

Williams faces a 10 count from the principal to a simple escape and one of the cheating during his tenure. According to the state Attorney General’s Office, Williams confirmed to investigators that one of the prisoners had instructed him to stop the water in his cell.
Rather than reporting suspicious requests, Williams is said to have complied, allowing prisoners to exploit the violations in the facility’s infrastructure, the hole behind the toilet, according to Maril’s office.
