FORT MYERS, Fla. (WFLA) – A naked man was found hiding in a tanned bed after trying to set planetary fitness to fire, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to LCSO, deputies ran through the gym, roamed the ceiling and responded to Planet Fitness on the South Stamami Trail after reporting they were about to start a fire in the bathroom.
Video footage shows 25-year-old Henry Antones Avarado running through a naked gym, entering multiple rooms and lying on a hydro-massage bed.
Antunez-Avardo was asked to leave the gym when it closed, but staff said he had begun to act irregularly.
According to deputies, Antunez-Avardo climbed onto the gym ceiling and knocked down some tiles.
Deputies find him hiding naked in a tan bed.
Antunez-Avardo was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, arson, criminal mischief and providing false identification to law enforcement.
According to the LCSO, Antunez-Avardo was convicted in 2023 of robbery, trespassing, and lo humiliation/pronouncement.
