TAMALAK, Fla. (WFLA) – A 4-year-old father was arrested, who went missing with his mother on Sunday.

An amber alert was issued earlier in the day for Seraphine’s gums and 34-year-old Mary Gingles, the last seen in Broward County.

Officials believed it was accompanied by the father of the child, Nathan Gingles, 43.

The child was located safely, but according to NBC 6, Mary Gingles’ body was found at home.

Deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office determined he was killed due to a gunshot wound.

Deputies also found the body of a man at the scene where BSO determined he had died from a bullet wound.

The victim was identified as Andrew Ferrin.

In the initial investigation, BSO said it discovered that Nathan took the child from their residence after Ferrin died.

Deputies tracked Nathan’s car to Walmart in North Lauderdale, where they found him and Seraphina.

Reporters said court documents revealed that the couple was in the process of getting divorced.

BSO lawmakers arrested Nathan Gingles for violating a ruling that prohibited him from contacting children or mothers.

They have yet to release details surrounding Mary or Ferrin’s death.
