The Floath Panthers will compete against the winner of the Western Conference Finals in the 2025 Stanley Cup final.
Florida took part in the Stanley Cup final for the third consecutive Stanley Cup final with a 12-5 record in the 2025 postseason, winning 10 of the 10 of the last 11 series since the start of the first round in 2025. In the first round of the 2025 playoffs, the Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning before overcoming the second consecutive year on the cross-state rival, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the defensive ion defense of the two series. The Leafs defeated Leaf 6-1 in Toronto’s decisive Game 7. The Cats defeated the Carolina Hurricanes in five games in the Eastern Conference Finals, becoming the ninth NHL franchise, and appeared in three consecutive Stanley Cup finals. The Panthers scored five or more goals in seven of their final eight playoff wins in the first round of 2025, dating back to the series Clinchin game at Tampa Bay.
