Sunrise, Fla. — Florida Panthers Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zetto announced today that the club has agreed to sign forward Jesper Boqvist on a two-year contract extension until the 2026-27 season.
“Jesper has proven to be a very competitive and dynamic forward that can be used in any situation,” Zito said. “He fits seamlessly into our group and is excited to continue his career with the Florida Panthers.”
The 26-year-old Boqvist scored a career-high 12 goals this season, scoring 22 points (12-10-22) in 59 games in his first season with the Panthers in 2024-25. Of his 12 tallys, 11 were third tied among Florida forwards, with three being the winners of the game.
