TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man has gone up to $5 million after purchasing a winning scratch ticket at a gas station.
The Florida lottery announced Tuesday that 66-year-old Robert Davenport of Ponte Vedra Beach has won the top prize of $5 million from a $5,000,000 triple match scratch-off game. He chose to receive the prize as a one-off, one-time payment of $3,319.810.

A lottery official said Davenport had purchased his tickets at a convenience store called First Coast Energy, located at 195 Corridor Road in Ponte Vedra Beach. The retailer received a $10,000 bonus fee to sell victory tickets.
The $20 scratch-off game will have a top prize of $5 million. Five million dollar prizes remain.
The overall victory odds for the game are 1-in-2.85.
