The EU has tightened its ban in recent months, but the Trump administration will begin talks with Moscow across the Atlantic.
EU envoys have decided on numerous new bans, including a list of 73 Shadow Fleet ships, including imports of primary aluminum and selling game consoles.

The package also extends the standard that includes the captain for the EU to use to sanction the owners and operators of the Shadow Fleet.
According to EU diplomats, video game consoles, joysticks and flight simulators are also restricted as they can be used by Russian troops to control drones.
Other bans include the export of chromium and certain chemicals, as well as the ban on services at oil and gas refineries.
These efforts include the establishment of new consultation mechanisms to complicate US-Russia relations and resolve issues to restructure diplomatic missions in each other’s soil.
