Officers said the boy left the house at 7:30am and rode a bike to the bus stops at NE 41st St. and Andalusia Blvd.

As the boy was waiting on the bench, a black SUV with two men inside was pulled up next to him.

The boy told police that the passengers opened his door and “clamped at him.” The child was able to return to his bike and go home.

Police describe the man as white or Hispanic, about 30 years old. The driver was wearing a graphic T-shirt, while the passengers were torn jeans in a black, puffy jacket. SUVs may have front-end damage.

Anyone with information about this incident can call Cape Coral Police Station 239-574-3223 or email ccpdtips@capecoral.gov.
