Walton County, Fla. (WMBB) – Backstreet boy Brian Litrell has filed a court order against the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

The lawsuit alleges that sheriff officials have not prevented the public from using Littrell’s private beachfront properties.

Littrell’s lawyers filed a Mandom’s warrant petition against the sheriff’s office on June 19, alleging that law enforcement refused to fulfill its obligation to enforce Littrell’s private property rights. The document calls Litrell’s property “BLB Beach Hut, LLC.”

Littrell properties extend from State Road 30A to the average high water line. The documents explain many attempts to drive beach fans away, including litrell’s indications of “no trespassing”; The effort was wasted, citing “a number of trespassers trespassing on BLB beaches every day, regularly trying to oppose, bully and harass the Litrell family every day.”

In response, BLB hired Security and submitted a Walton County trespass approval form. “Trespassing on Standard Operating Procedures for the Front Gulf Coast” is a public policy and can be found on the Walton County Sheriff’s Office website.

Details of the document details several incidents that occurred on May 4th and June 5th, including trespassers harassing Litrell and hired security. On June 5th, Litrell officials called the Sheriff’s Office three times without the aide responding.

The Nexstar Sister Station WMBB has contacted the Walton County Sheriff’s Office for comment. Authorities said they could not comment on pending lawsuits or legal actions.

The clash between Beach Fan and Litrell can be seen in a video by Tiktok posted in April 2023. In the video, you can see Brian’s wife, Leighanne Littrell, discussing the high waterline of property and telling them a group of people trespassing.
