The alleged Doge Inposters Requests Records from San Francisco City Hall

San Francisco officials are looking for three men who entered San Francisco City Hall on Friday, serving as an employee of Elon Musk’s Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The suspects entered various offices and demanded access to records “in relation to vain government spending and alleged fraud,” according to a statement from the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office.

Three men wore America.

“I don’t think that the individual who requests access to city files is a representative of Doge,” the sheriff’s office said.

City Hall employees refused to hand over the information and warned law enforcement. However, by the time authorities arrived, three suspects had left the building.

The Sheriff’s Office now reviews surveillance video and says it will “pursuing leads using other investigative tools.”

Doge, the advisory committee launched by Trump, is tasked with eliminating useless federal spending, fraud and abuse.

While speaking with reporters on Thursday, Musk defended efforts to significantly cut Doge’s spending, saying Americans voted for major changes and that the Trump administration is offering.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order on February 11th instructing government agencies to consult with Doge on reducing federal workers and “eliminating waste, bloating and isolatedness.”

The order calls for massive cuts, including an order that “each agency will not employ less than one employee for every four employees departing.”

The executive order provides several exemptions, including military and law enforcement.
