The federal court of appeals says the EPA under the Trump administration can eliminate the $20 billion Qi candidate grant that was kicked out by the “front group” to promote the Biden Green Energy Movement.
After the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was passed, Democrats and the Biden administration praised the IRA as the biggest investment in climate and energy in American history.
To campaign for their efforts, the Biden administration targeted states such as Florida and the Swing District, funding billions of dollars in taxes through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. Some of these organizations were the Climate United Fund, the Green Capital coalition, and the power forward community.
The group rose to states like Florida, promoting the need to fight “environmental racism.” Another initiative, called “Climate Corps,” was designed to target small communities and provided tax rebates to Florida homeowners who installed solar panels on their roofs.
Currently, from the court’s ruling, the EPA will terminate the contracts for these nonprofits.

“They call it the Green New Deal, but it’s like a new green scam,” says Steve Milroy’s founder and senior fellow at the Energy & Environmental Law Institute.
Miroy, a former member of the Trump EPA transition team, said it may take some time to cancel items handed over in the IRA bill in 2022.
States like Florida are set to receive billions to increase the production of goods, such as solar panels. But Milroy says this will cost consumers and taxpayers more than $1 trillion.
During the campaign, President Donald Trump pledged to end the “new green scam.” Miroy and others are encouraging Congress to help him do so by repealing any subsidies under the Inflation Reduction Act.
“We need to stop cutting checks for fraud,” Milroy said.
