Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, quarterback for the NFL champion Philadelphia Eagles, will be heading to Disney World today.
Walt Disney World is checking it out at part of a parade down Magic Kingdom’s Main Street on Monday around 2:30pm. The Hurts group interacts with Disney characters and goes to several attractions in the theme park. Paid admission to the park is required to confirm the lawsuit.
After his team defeated two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans on Sunday, he uttered the magical words to camera: “I’m going to Disney World.” Hurts won 17 of 22 passes and two touchdowns for 221 yards.
This is the first time Magic Kingdom has held a Super Bowl festival since 2021, when Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski represented the winning Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The past three celebrations have been held at Disneyland. The big game position is a factor due to the overnight turnaround.
The “I’m To Disney World” promotion began in 1987 with New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms. “You just won the Super Bowl. What are you doing next?” he looked at the lens and said, “I’m going to Disney World.”
