According to NHL statistics, Ekblad has accounted for 127 goals in his career (47 goals, 80 goals), which is the third most in franchise history behind Aleksander Barkov (262 goals) and Jonathan Huberdeau (200 goals).
“It was a great screen from Leino (Sam Reinhart),” Ekblad said of the goal. “I think it was because of the screen, but the internet was pretty open.”

Daniil Tarasov made a great save on Nathan MacKinnon to deny the Avalanche’s last chance and scored, giving the Panthers a 2-1 victory.
