Barkov, who skated in his 800th career NHL game, scored a major assist in the goal.

“I can’t say enough about him,” Verhege said of Barkov, who has been captain of the Panthers since 2018. “He is a very humble man and an incredible hockey player.

He broke his tie for two minutes in the third season, and Knick Suzuki sent the Canadian first, defeating Bobrovsky with a fierce one-timer from the left circle to make it 3-2.

Hatson, who scored his third assist in the game, raised his point to 59. This was most common in the season with 60 Nicklas Lidstrom, who was 60 years old, in 1991-92.

In an attempt to find an equalizer, the Panthers pulled Bobrovsky for a 6-5 advantage late in the regulation. However, after blocking the point shot, the Canadians put the game down when Brendan Gallagher sent the puck to the empty net in Florida, making it 4-2 at 1:44.

Despite losing a special team fight, the Panthers were encouraged with a 5-5 play, where they led with a chance to win the Canadiens 28-18 and a 66-40 shot attempt.

“This was a pretty good 5-on-5 game,” Maurice said. “We were fine throughout the two periods anyway. We play a lot of tight games, and that’s the style of hockey we play.

With their homes and homes closed, the Panthers will visit Montreal on Tuesday.

“It’s nice to have them back on the ice at home,” Werhege said.

They said that

“Playing as many tight games as possible is an important piece of work now.” – What Paul Maurice is looking for home stretches

“They have really good power plays and really skilled players. For us, we have to prepare for a really good matchup.” – Carter Verhaege on the challenge raised by the Canadians.
