With his main assist, Jones scored his first point as a Panther.
“It was great,” Samoskevich said of the nifty feed from Jones. “He set it up perfectly. He set up the perfect goalkeeper for me, and that’s what he’s all about. I had a pretty open net. I’ve loved his game before so I think he’ll definitely help us here.”
Ending Florida’s Shut Outstreak, the Bruins cut the deficit in half with their own power play targets, shortly after Pastornack beat Bobrovsky in tight to make it 2-1 at 8:56.

“It was solid,” Bobrovsky said of the team’s recent success. “Defensively, we played great. The penalty kills were great. There’s all the ingredients and pieces.”

With 3:17 left, Pavel Zacha took a timer through five holes in Bobrovsky, making it 3-2.
After drawing the goaltender with a 6-5 advantage late in regulation, the Panthers thought they tied the game when Sam Reinhart plunged the puck into the Swayman’s pad with just 1:31 left.
However, after reviews, officials blew whi off before the pack crossed the line.
In the third term, the Bruins led 9-0 with a 5-5 chance to score.
Their final fight in 2024-25, the Panthers finished the season series with a 2-1-1 record against the Bruins.
“I thought they had a good push,” Samoskevich said. “We knew they were coming. We’ll need to get ready next time. Overall, that’s good for our group. These are the types of games you want to play. We’ll definitely learn from this.”
