Straz Center expands arts education with tap dance programs

As part of its commitment to arts education, Stras Center provides tap shoes and instruction to students at the Academy Prep Center in Tampa, where they take part in tap dance lessons twice a week.

The initiative is part of the Stras Center’s efforts to make arts education more accessible. The program will provide free performing arts experiences to over 40 service agencies, community organizations and schools, enhancing students’ exposure and appreciation for the arts.
