SeaWorld Orlando has revealed two of the five ghost homes scheduled for this year’s Howl-o-Scream event. One of them is new content, and the other is a return theme. Two return zones have also been posted.
The new home is called the Collector’s Curse and includes real estate hosted by the title character. Collectors “enchant their guests with unusual artifacts and ancient artifacts,” SeaWorld says. But there is also a “twisted underworld of cursed creation and monster mutations.”
The home he returned to was Farm 51, again featuring a country house.
The scary zones that have been carved so far are the Bloodlight District (keywords: seductive shadows, seduction, vampire) and the Cannibal harbor (rotten harbors, ghost docks, fishermen who hunt life). Howl-o-scream has six fear zones this year, four of which have new themes, Seaworld says. According to the Howl-o-scream website, there is also a pair of roaming horde, five theme bars, live entertainment and “unprecedented surprises.”
The new “Little World” poem will be performed on Magic Kingdom Ride
The after-hours/extra ticket event will take place 28 nights from September 6th to November 1st. The park sells one-night Howl-o-scream tickets, unlimited accommodation passes, frontline tickets and bundles.
It is the fifth year that SeaWorld Orlando has held a festival of horror for “mature viewers.” The park will continue daytime Halloween programming for children, known as Spooktacular, which will be included in regular theme park admissions from August 30th.
