Rubio confirms that Venezuela’s Chevron oil license expires on May 27th

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on May 21 that Chevron’s oil license in Venezuela will expire at the end of May, as planned.

“The Venezuela Promaduro Biden oil license will expire if it is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27th next week,” said Chief Rubio. I wrote it With social media platform X, without providing details.

The confirmation by the Secretary of State was welcomed by Hispanic lawmakers, including Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FLA).

Separately, Rep. Mario Diaz Barato (R-FLA.) thanked the Trump administration for the move.

He has turned to partners in the global terrorist network and the violent group (Tren de Aragua) who have enabled Venezuela to become a hub covered by aggressive crime in the region.” The Florida representative wrote about X.

Tren de Aragua is a Venezuelan crime gang designated by the United States as a terrorist organization earlier this year.
