Wesley Chapel – Sunshine State Showcase Showdown.

In the second game of the Rookie Showcase, the Florida Panthers fell 3-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.

“Super competitive” 2025’s fifth draft pick (129th overall) Shamar Moses spoke about Florida’s first fight. “It doubles the competitiveness of yesterday’s game, so even with the outlook here it shows rivalry. It’s fun.”

It didn’t take long for cross-state rivals to show their lack of love.

During the first physical period, Colton Hard and Grant Spada dropped their gloves and the strength quickly boiled.

Defeating the man early, Hunter St. Martin received a Gamemis Conduct for boarding shortly after the scrap.

Pushing through adversity, the Panthers killed a five-minute power play with some massive saves from Kiril Gerasimuk.

In the second period, the first period of scoreless, I saw the puck hit the back of the net five times.

At 3:50, in the second season, the ice finally broke when Tampa Bay found the back of the net.

With sparks on the bench, Phip Waugh and Lucas Mercuri dropped Mitts for the second fight of the game.

Evening score, Kai Schwind lit the ramp with a chip shot from Moses at 5:10.
