BANEL, Fla. (WFLA) – The plane that went missing Friday night was found in a forest area early Saturday morning in a remote area in North Florida.
Just after midnight, the Flager County Sheriff’s Office issued a notice Friday evening that it was searching for an aircraft that could have fallen after losing contact with Palatka Municipal Airport, located 50 miles northeast of Ocala. I did.

In a Saturday morning update, the sheriff’s office passed the Volsia County line in a densely wooded area via helicopters near Flagler County.
