A swan among geese. In a field of thousands of yellow sunflowers at Sledd’s U-Pick Farm in Mims, the very few reddish flowers stand out. This loner in a field of yellow is e a velvet queen sunflower.

The good news is Sledd’s U-Pick farm in Mims has another sunflower maze. The bad news, the hurricane and Christmas freeze sort of dwarfed the crop. They are too short to get lost in, but still very cool to see thousands of sunflowers. They have another crop started for late February or March. Checked their facebook page for their hours that they are open.
