Previous Report: Three Arrested in connection with FSU Player Shooting
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – President Donald Trump has written a letter to the family of Florida State football player Ethan Pritchard, who was hospitalized in a shooting in early September.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement reported that Pritchard was dropping off his family at his Havana apartment when an FSU linebacker was ambushed and shot.
Pritchard was rushed to the hospital in danger, but remained stable.
According to an X’s post from NBC affiliate Wesh reporter Stewart Moore, Trump sent Pritchard the following letter praised him for his courage and tenacity, and praised him as inspiration.
“Melania and I are devastated to learn of your injuries. Know that my administration will never stop us from cleaning our city and fighting to ensure law and order.”
“Your courage reflects the power of the human spirit, and your tenacity is an inspiration for so many people. We hope you will find comfort in the love of your family and friends and exalt yourself in the enduring strength and support of all those around you.”
