Furry Friends has the opportunity to be on wine bottle labels thanks to their partnership with Quantum Leap Winery in the annual contest from Orlando’s Pet Alliance.
“My Best Friend Wine Label Contest” returns to its 12th year, giving pet parents the opportunity to introduce cats and dogs to wine bottles.
Entries will be accepted until July 27th (a fee of $5 per entry) and voting will open from July 28th to August. 17. The contest raises funds for the organization as each vote is cast with a donation of $1.
“It’s time to make your furry friend famous,” Pet Alliance executive director Steve Birdy said in a news release. “We are extremely pleased to reclaim our popular annual pet photography contest. This is a great opportunity for proud pet parents to show off their adorable furry babies and people to support our organization. We thank everyone who participates in the fun.
Dogs and cats with the most votes will be featured in the wine label photos, names and short stories from Quantum Leap’s 2025 “My Best Friend Rescue Red Wine.” The winery moved from its former location in Orlando’s Mills 50 district to a new location on Fairview Lake last year.
Grand Prize winners will receive a case (12 bottles) and features from the Pet Alliance’s Wags and Whiskers newsletter.
The runner-ups in each category will also be awarded the award. Each recipient and their families will be invited to an event at the Pet Alliance’s new shelter this October.
The Pet Alliance has raised a total of nearly $420,000 from the contest. The organization supports more than 4,000 homeless dogs and cats each year by providing education and education in shelters, veterinary care, pet food pantry, animal welfare.
