ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) – Passengers entering and leaving Orlando have rubbed oil blessed on the plane’s appearance following recent aviation accidents across the US

A video shot by Desiree Salter shows a passenger pouring oil from a small bottle on the jet bridge and stepping inside before signing the cross on the outside of the plane.

Captioning the video “In Jesus’ Name,” the woman rubs oil on the other side of the door and gives the camera a look of “I’m not messing around.”

The second video uploaded by Salter shows him walking down the jet bridge for his return flight to Orlando and shaking a bottle of oil.

“POV: Congratulations on this plane… Again!” she wrote.

Once again, the woman bows her head and gives her a gentle pat, throwing away some of the oil in her hand before placing her entire hand on the outside of the plane.

The video posted to Tiktok went viral and has earned over 6 million views. Many users jumped into the comments to express their support.

“No strings attached”: Delta offers passengers financial “gestures” in Toronto crash

“At this point… I won’t blame you,” one user wrote.

“How I feel more secure on that flight,” another said.

Salter shared that he obtained oil from his stepfather, a pastor at a local church. Always got it in his wallet and Salter said he happened to have one while he was on a trip to Punta Cana.

“I prayed for it and wanted to keep everyone safe here,” she said. “And God kept us safe and He kept us covered.”

Viral videos include air collisions between Blackhawk Army helicopters and American Airlines flights in Washington, DC, and a fatal Philadelphia crash that killed 67 people and involved a medical transport jet carrying a young child. It will take place after a weekly aviation accident.

Last week, Delta Air Lines’ flights in Toronto were overturned. 76 passengers and all four crew members miraculously survived, but some passengers were only relatively minor injuries.
