The Palm Coast man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his role in a nationwide cryptocurrency hacking scheme that scam millions of dollars of casualties.
U.S. Senior District Judge Harvey E. Schlesinger has declared 20-year-old Noah Michael Urban, who went under aliases such as “King Bob,” “Sosa,” “Elijah,” and “Gustavo Flynn.” Urban was also ordered to confiscate $4.8 million in assets, including cryptocurrency and other assets, and pay $13 million in reparations. He pleaded guilty in April.
According to court records, Urban and others carried out targeted cyberattacks between August 2022 and March 2023. Their tactics included “SIM swapping,” in which hackers control the victim’s phone number and access personal data and cryptocurrency accounts. Urban used stolen personal information to hack into a digital wallet, eventually stealing cryptocurrency from at least 59 victims across the country.
Prosecutors said the Urban group is also targeting employees at the company who have phishing text messages to steal login credentials. Using that access, they retrieved private company data, split it into additional cryptocurrency accounts, along with the leaked dataset, and stole millions more.
The FBI searched Urban’s residence and linked him to the victim’s accounts for $4.8 million with evidence that linked him to the victim’s account and stolen cryptocurrency stored on his device. In total, investigators determined that the group caused losses in excess of $13 million.

This case was investigated by the FBI. It was indicted by Assistant Professor John Canissaro, a US lawyer for the Central District of Florida, and Assistant Director Lauren Replyo of the Central District of California.
