Jacksonville, Fla. (WFLA) – This is rarely found elsewhere outside of Sunshine State.
A driver cruising the I-95 through Jacksonville’s South Side over the weekend may have had a glimpse into the barefoot man widely known as the “blue-collar brawler.”

“No, your eyes weren’t doing the trick on you. It really happened,” the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook post sharing a video of the action.
The sheriff’s office said lawmakers joined forces with the “Gator Wrangling Legend” with the licensed Florida alligator Trapper to keep everyone safe by keeping reptiles away from the road.
The video shows him using a pole to catch a gator and wrestled it on the side of the road, where he climbed over a giant reptile and held his jaw down. He then placed the crocodile behind the truck and was taken away from the busy highway.
All of that happened while he was barefoot in hot cement and dressed head to toe in camouflage.
“Only in Florida…” the sheriff’s office wrote.
