Buena Vista Lake, Fla. (WFLA) – Guests will soon be stepping into the “wheelbarrow” at Piston Peak National Park, located in Disney’s latest “car” attraction.
Walt Disney World announced a fictional national park on Tuesday, filled with towering trees, snow-covered mountains and more.

The space will close parts of Frontierland on the American river, Tom Sawyer Island, and on July 7th once construction begins.

The design of Piston Peak National Park, according to the company, is inspired by the “history and iconic views of the American frontier and its national park.”
Set within the space of Disney and Pixar’s “cars” adventurers can explore the visitors’ lodges, trails, and ranger HQ, and even take part in off-road rally races.
Engineers plan to use what they call “Parkitecture” to fuse the new structure with natural-looking geysers and sturdy mountains.
Work starts in the summer. The company has not said when the construction is expected to be completed.
