The Powerball ticket for the victory on Monday, February 24th was sold at Publix, 12663 Tamiami Trail East, Naples.
The second tier award is worth $1 million.
A “second tier” victory means that ticket holders match five numbers in the Powerball drawing.
Publix sells two other $1 million Powerball tickets in February
The Monday night painting was the third painting in February. The players matched five numbers that won $1 million with tickets purchased from Publix’s grocery store.
On February 1st, $1 million tickets were sold at Spring Hill Commercial Way Publix. The win count was as follows: 23-29-32-49-61, 8 Powerball and 2 Power plays.
On February 19th, $1 million tickets were sold at Publix, Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Port St. Lucie. The number of wins was: 6-21-28-49-60, 20 Powerball and 2 Powerplay.
Florida lottery prizes must be charged within 180 days (6 months) of the date of the drawing. To claim a single payment cash option, the winner will be within the first 60 days of the applicable draw date to charge it.
Florida Lottery requires that you request a scratch-off ticket and fast-play game award within 60 days of the official match end date. After the applicable period has passed, related Florida Lottery tickets will expire .”

Awards under $599: You will be billed at an approved Florida lottery retailer or Florida lottery district office.
