TAMPA, FL – The Museum of Science and Industry’s new exhibition, “Giants, Dragons, Unicorns,” pulls from f-tales and folklore to explain everything from creatures deep in the ocean to fire-breathing dragons.
“The American Museum of Natural History brings together this exhibit to explain some of the sciences, how these creatures are alive and in people’s minds and in some cases, real life,” says Mosi CEO John Smith.
Interactive stations are set throughout the exhibition to attract curious and hearts, with educational facts and artifacts incorporating them.
“They have sections about each part and the parts about the real part and the parts about the exposed part, so that’s really interesting,” said visitor Adam Goodenov.
Exploring and learning something along the way is the point behind this new family-friendly exhibition. It is intended to be a fun way to break down tall stories told over the centuries.
“The 01 exhibit does a great job of interpreting it for people, showing the reality with the science behind them, why people thought of these things, these creatures are actually realistic and you can find them naturally in different ways,” Smith said.
The exhibition is currently open and prices are included in the admission fee. For more information, see MOSI.
